MMDC's community development work is focused on business development, community services, and real estate development. Edge Alley is currently our signature project. Four retail spaces under 300 sq. ft. are available for retailers, entrepreneurs, and makers interested in a local retail space. Leasing Edge Alley space comes with financial, technical, and marketing assistance.
Developing a comprehensive transportation strategy managed by a transportation management association is the focus of the work around community services. The most dominant land use in the Medical District is parking facilities, yet many of the District's largest institutions are considering expanding parking capacity. Alleviating this pressure on land and parking in the District is the focus of MMDC's transportation work.
Developer assistance and matching prospective tenants with owners of available properties comprises the work in real estate development.
